Having seen with wisdom the abandoning of covetousness and grief,  he closely looks on with equanimity. That is why on that occasion a bhikkhu abides contemplating the body as a body, ardent, fully aware, and mindful, having put away covetousness and grief for the world. Therefore, focus on Right view, Right intention, Morality through word, deed and livelihood and Right abapanasati to reduce unwholesome qualities and increase wholesome qualities in oneself are foundational to this practice znapanasati.
